Merry TubaChristmas

  • On the steps outside the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium 705 Grand Avenue Shreveport, Louisiana, 71101 United States (map)

On Saturday, December 19, step into the magic of the holiday season with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council on the steps of the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium for a festive celebration of music!

“A Merry TubaChristmas" is returning to Shreveport, where the air will be filled with the rich sounds of Tubas, Sousaphones, Baritones, and Euphoniums playing your favorite holiday carols. TUBACHRISTMAS® is coordinated in cities all across the country and has been an established tradition for 53 years. 2026 will be the third year Shreveport has hosted “Merry TubaChristmas”.

Immerse yourself in the warmth of community and the joy of the holidays as low brass enthusiasts come together to create a symphony of festive cheer. It's a harmonious gathering of "low brass" and "High Holiday Spirits," and we invite everyone to be a part of this musical celebration.

This event is open to all, and there's no cost to join the festivities. Bring your loved ones, your holiday spirit, and a cozy blanket to enjoy the musical magic under the winter sky.

Calling All Low Brass Players!
