Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding

(DAF) Program

Funding Available

Project Assistance Grants

  • $1,000-$7,500 grants for arts projects and programs that meet community needs

  • For Nonprofit Organizations, Public Institutions, and Individuals with a Fiscal Agent across Northwest Louisiana

Organizational Support Grants

  • Funding for operating expenses, such as salaries, supplies, and utilities

  • For Nonprofit Arts Organizations across Northwest Louisiana

ABOUT: The Louisiana Division of the Arts Decentralized Arts Funding Program provides a system for funding arts and cultural projects in every parish of the state.  Funds are provided to each parish on a per capita basis utilizing the most recent census figures.  As applicants compete only with other organizations in their parish, decisions about cultural priorities are made locally.

  • For Shreveport Artists to produce, present, promote, or support the Arts to serve the community

  • Applications have closed.

Travel Grants ($1,000)

  • For Shreveport Artists invited to professional events outside of Northwest Louisiana

  • Revolving Deadline: Due 45 days before travel

  • For Juried Roster Artists across Northwest Louisiana applying to Artist Calls outside of the region

  • Awards and enables Shreveport’s artists of exceptional talent the opportunity to pursue their artistic goals
