Equipping the nonprofit arts organizations in Northwest Louisiana to better manage their organization through direct Technical Assistance and extensive Training, SRAC employs a full time Community Development Director to assist Artists and Arts Organizations.  Additionally, SRAC partners with the State of Louisiana Division of the Arts, LANO (Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations), and the Americans for the Arts to provide outstanding capacity building workshops, national resources, and one-on-one assistance to artists and arts organizations.

CURRENT GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON JULY 13, 2018, BY 5:00 PM

Artists and Arts Organizations are invited to apply for annual grant funding opportunities. Organizations in any Parish may apply to the (1.) Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding (DAF) Program for either Project Assistance or Organizational Support. Artists and Arts Organizations in the City of Shreveport may also apply to the (2.) Shreveport Regrant Program for Project Assistance, Operating Support, and Artist Mini-Grants. The Shreveport Regrant Program also provides Travel Grants and Artist Fellowships.

1. LOUISIANA DECENTRALIZED ARTS FUNDING (DAF) PROGRAM

The Louisiana Division of the Arts Decentralized Arts Funding Program provides a system for funding arts and cultural projects in every parish of the state.  Funds are provided to each parish on a per capita basis utilizing the most recent census figures.  As applicants compete only with other organizations in their parish, decisions about cultural priorities are made locally.

The DAF Program applications are now 100% online!

Grant applicants can now submit DAF Project Assistance and Organizational Support grant applications online at www.mygovernmentonline.org.

Applications will close on Friday, July 13th at 5:00 p.m.
