Artist Entrepreneurial Training

The Arts Entrepreneurial Intensive Training series offers artists a chance to advance their business and discover new opportunities. The series teaches the artist from start to finish how to create a small business to increase earned income as an artist. The trainers use lecture and small work group teaching formats.

Reaching its 32nd year, Artbreak, the largest student arts festival in the South, is a celebration of the creativity flourishing in our children. Each student is a celebrity in this 7-day festival showcasing the artists & art programs in the visual, literary, cultural, and performing arts programs of area schools. ArtBreak is a family festival with an emphasis on S.T.E.A.M. Learning.

Public Art

Public Art creates opportunities for Shreveport to establish a unique identity and character and to contribute to the civic pride of the community.  A project of SRAC, the "Once in a Millennium Moon" is the largest publicly-funded mural in the nation, and a true community project. It was produced by a team of professional artists and 2,600 community painters under the guidance of muralist Meg Saligman.
