Award Ceremony for the
Louisiana Decentralized Art Funds &
City of Shreveport and City of Bossier Regrants
On Monday, October 19, 2009, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at artspace, 710 Texas Street, Downtown Shreveport, the Shreveport Regional Arts Councila and Bossier rts Council will host an AWARDS CEREMONY for artists and arts organizations. The arts are an essential and unique part of life in Louisiana to which each citizen has a right. The Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Bossier Arts Council will present the 2009 Decentralized Grant Awards and the 2009 City of Shreveport and City of Bossier Regrant to over 60 organizations located throughout Northwest Louisiana.
Celebrate with us as we announce the 2009 City of Shreveport/SRAC Fellowship Awards for the Individual artists who have demonstrated the highest level of professional standards and delivery of the Arts in the City of Shreveport.
Projects of Triumph over Tragedy are supported in part by a greant from the LA State Arts Council, the LA Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.
